Applicant privacy notice
This notice explains what Commercial Glazing Contractors Inc. ("CGC") collects when you apply for a job through this website, why, who sees it and how long we keep it.

What we collect
- What you type in the application form: your name, phone, email, the role you want, years of glazing experience, whether you have a California driver's license, whether you can lift and handle glass with or without a reasonable accommodation, your availability and your message.
- Your resume, if you attach one.
- The date and time you applied, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address, used only to stop spam.
We do not ask for criminal history, salary history, age or date of birth, Social Security number, immigration status or photos. Please leave these out of your resume and message.
Why we use it
- To review your application and decide whether to contact you.
- To contact you about this or future openings at CGC.
- To keep the hiring records that employers must keep by law.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who sees it
The owner of CGC and the people at CGC involved in hiring. Our website host and storage provider (Vercel) and our email provider (Resend) process the information only to run these services for us. We may also share it when the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep applications and resumes for four years from the date we receive them, the period California law requires employers to keep job applications. After that, we delete them.
Your choices
If you live in California, you can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we may need to keep some records for the period above). We will not treat you differently for asking.
